Merethe Kuhmunen is from Suijavárri (Suijavaara), close to Gárasavvon (Karesuando) in the Swedish area of Sápmi. Merethe is a journalist and educated as duojár. Merethe challenges the traditional norms of duodji and is passionate about developing duodji to be more inclusive.
